At Basket of yarn, we take great pride in the care and craftsmanship of our handmade items. Because every piece is made with time, love, and attention to detail, we ask that you read the following policy carefully before requesting a return or refund.

If you're unsatisfied with your purchase, don't hesitate to contact us at basketofyarn@yahoo.com with any questions regarding returns or refunds.

Our return and refund policy is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, if more than 30 days have passed, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.
Essential Notes on Handmade & Custom Items

Some items are handmade to order, and custom creations may take longer to produce.

Custom or personalised items are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless they arrive damaged or defective.

We appreciate your understanding, as recreating these one-of-a-kind items is time-intensive and may not be possible in the same way again.

Returns Process
To complete a return, you must provide proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email or receipt). In some instances, only a partial refund may be issued, including when:

More than 30 days have passed since the purchase

The item shows signs of wear or use

There are slight pattern variations due to the handmade nature of the product

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email about the status of your refund request. A refund will be processed to your original payment method within seven business days if approved.

Exchanges
We only offer exchanges for defective or damaged items upon arrival. If you need to request an exchange for the same item, please email us as soon as possible.
Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and sent directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

If the gift wasn’t marked as such or was sent to the gift giver, we will issue the refund to the original purchaser, who will be notified of the return​
